Transatlantic Air Freight Service

Yusen Logistics are now offering enhanced service schedules between Amsterdam, Frankfurt, New York and Chicago.

Door to door services are enabled through the use of by Yusen’s distribution networks across the Europe and the US.

Space is available on Sunday flights for consolidated shipment departures ex Europe as well as ex USA or daily flights for single shipments.

Securing space on commercial flights is a key concern and Yusen have appointed key management from the airline carrier industry to negotiate and ensure that sufficient capacity can be maintained.

Customers benefit from a simple flat rate charging structure with access to services being offered through Yusen’s European branch network.

On an annual basis, Yusen Logistics ships more than 25,000 tonnes of airfreight from Europe through its networks using both commercial and its own freighter fleet. This new development will enable a ‘round the globe’ airfreight capability and further compliments an already significant position to/from Asian markets.

Airfreight is core to our supply chain management portfolio with this initiative being coupled to an expansive plan of NVOCC development, which has Yusen targeting to carry 1 million TEU by the end of 2013.
